Why we Exist 

A Legacy of Love. A Heart to Serve. A Mission to Give Hope. The Desiree Cox Foundation Inc. was established in loving memory of Desiree Cox, but its story began long before the Foundation was formed. For years, Desiree and her daughter shared a heart for helping others. Whether it was family members, friends, neighbors, or complete strangers, they believed that whenever there was an opportunity to extend a helping hand, they should do so.

Giving was never simply about what they had. It was about recognizing the needs of others, showing compassion, and doing whatever they could to make someone's burden a little lighter. Following Desiree's Passing, her daughter was inspired to carry forward that spirit of generosity by establishing the Desiree Cox Foundation Inc. Turning a lifetime of love and service into a lasting legacy.

Today, the Foundation exists to serve children, families, seniors, and underserved Communities facing hardship, providing practical assistance, encouragement, resources, and opportunities for a better tomorrow.

We believe that compassion should never be limited to those we know personally. Every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, every family deserves hope, and every community deserves the opportunity to thrive.
