Welcome to Desiree Cox Foundation Inc. Honoring a Legacy of Love and Service. The Desiree Cox Foundation Inc. is name after a God-Fearing woman with an extraordinary heart for helping others. Desiree was an intentional pillar of her community someone who would move out of her way to comfort and help those in need, whether stranger, friend, or family. She gave selflessly, often sacrificing her own comfort to ensure others had a helping hand. Though COVID-19 took Desiree from us, her beautiful spirit and enduring legacy of love continue to inspire us. Through this foundation, we celebrate her life by making a meaningful impact in South Jamaica Queens the community she loved. OUR PURPOSE: We are dedicated community leaders, members, Volunteers, and partners united in providing hope, care, and a wide range of services to those who need it most. Desiree’s example along with her daughter Baushell Cox guides everything we do here at DCF.
Family Support Programs
The Family & Individual Support Program of the Desiree Cox Foundation provides comprehensive assistance to families and individuals experiencing hardship. We connect those in need to essential resources, supportive services, and trusted community partnerships that promote stability, self-sufficiency, and long-term empowerment.
We address practical challenges while also supporting emotional and spiritual well-being, because true restoration begins from the inside out.

The Desiree Cox Foundation Established in 2020 as a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization honoring Desiree Cox, the foundation operates with a clear mission centered on compassion, community, and dignity. Led by founder Baushell Cox, whose dedication to community service drives the organization’s impactful work, DCF has become a trusted voice for hope and change in South Jamaica, Queens.

Strong Partnerships
We have built meaningful collaborations with churches Jamaica New Testament Church, Temple of Blessings Church, Community organizations, Jamaica Community Partnership, local leaders (Senator Leroy Comrie), healtcare institutions ( Northwell Hospital), Sybil’s Bakery & Restaurant and business owners throughout the Jamaica, Queens.
